The United States Launched The Second Double Anti Sunset Review Investigation On Coated Paper Made in China And Indonesia

On December 1, 2021, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement, The second anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation was launched on coated paper suitable for high quality print graphics using sheet fed press imported from China and Indonesia. At the same time, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) initiate a sunset review industrial damage investigation on this case to review whether the material damage caused by the import of the products involved to the domestic industry of the United States will continue or recur within a reasonably foreseeable period if the current double countermeasures are cancelled. The interested parties shall register their response to the lawsuit with the U.S. Department of Commerce within 10 days from the date of issuance of this notice. The interested parties shall report to the U.S. Department of Commerce on January 1, 2022 Submit a reply to the U.S. International Trade Commission before February 3, and submit comments on the adequacy of the reply to the U.S. International Trade Commission no later than February 10, 2022.

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced the positive final determination results of anti-dumping and countervailing in the case, and ruled that the weighted average dumping margin of Chinese enterprises involved in the case was 7.60% ~ 135.83%, the subsidy rate was 17.64% ~ 178.03%, and the weighted average dumping margin of Indonesian enterprises involved in the case was 20.13%, and the subsidy rate was 17.94%.

November 17, 2010

The U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement to revise the final results of anti-dumping and countervailing in the case, and re ruled that the weighted average dumping margin of Chinese enterprises involved in the case was 7.62% ~ 135.84%, and the countervailing rate was 19.46% ~ 202.84%.

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it would launch the first sunset review of anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on coated paper imported from China and Indonesia.

January 8, 2016

The U.S. Department of Commerce released the final result of the anti-dumping fast sunset review of the case and ruled that the weighted average dumping margin of Chinese enterprises involved in the case was 135.84% and that of Indonesian enterprises involved in the case was 20.13%.

The U.S. Department of Commerce released the final result of the rapid sunset review of countervailing in the case, ruling that the subsidy rate of enterprises involved in Indonesia was 17.94%.

The U.S. Department of Commerce released the final result of the rapid sunset review of countervailing in the case, ruling that the subsidy rate of Chinese enterprises involved in the case was 19.46% ~ 202.84%.

January 4, 2016

The United States International Trade Commission voted to formally apply anti-dumping and countervailing comprehensive sunset review industrial injury investigation to coated paper imported from China and Indonesia.
