According to Russia’s forestry magazine, iiim group, Russia’s largest pulp and paper company, will increase its exports to China to 2.4 million tons in 2024.

Sources said that in 2020, the company’s supply to China reached a record of 1.66 million tons (including 170000 tons of paperboard). In 2024, Ilim Group expects to increase its export volume to China to 2.4 million tons.

It is reported that in December 2021, yilim group and Shanghai Huihong pulp and Paper Co., Ltd. signed two tripartite strategic cooperation agreements.

The third party is Hengan Group and Mudanjiang Hengfeng Paper, which use Ilim’s paperboard and pulp to produce their own products.

The signing of the new agreement means further expansion of supply, optimization of product production process and export to the Chinese market, and improvement of services to Chinese consumers.

Ilim group produces 75% of Russia’s total commercial pulp, 20% of paperboard and 10% of paper. At present, 44% of the group’s pulp and paper products are exported to China. At present, more than 500 factories in 20 regions in China use the products of Ilim group.
