Delivery of printing and writing paper in the United States fell by 15% year-on-year in February

Recently, the American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA) released a monthly report on printed and writing paper in the United States for February. The report shows that the total delivery of printed and writing paper in the United States in February decreased by 15% compared to the same period last year, with domestic delivery falling by 6%.

The delivery volume of the three varieties of printing and writing paper has decreased to varying degrees, with the smallest decrease of 9% for non coated chemical pulp paper, while the delivery volume of coated chemical pulp paper and mechanical pulp paper has decreased significantly.

In addition, from the perspective of import volume, the net import volume of chemical pulp and paper increased, while the net import volume of mechanical pulp and paper decreased slightly. The total inventory of printing and writing paper was basically flat compared to the same period last year (+0.3%).
